Electrical installation

We study electrical circuits up to 400 V ac voltage as maximum. High and middle voltage are outside of our pratical ability.


Existing installations optimization

We propose several types of optimization, depending of the installation. Electrical analyzer are almost an obligation to control the efficiency of measures that have been taken

Lighting application can be improve with a new technology (for instance LED), or by installation regulation improvement.

Moving to a new technology depends of capital availability. Important factors are maintenance costs and installation lifespan.

Installation regulation can be simple or complex. The easiest way to cut costs might be to install timer and presence detectors. The most complex one is a centralized installation, all lighting sources will connected to a computer network. This allows the best use of each lighting source according to activities and natural light in each area. Between those extremes, there is a lot of intermediate solutions

General distribution circuits can be optimized in those ways :

   -   Improving conductivity can be done with the help of superconductor

   -   Power factor correction depends of pricing settings and is generally solved installing capacitors

   -   Consumption supervision can be achieved with electrical analyzer at key points of the installation


Modification / design of installations

During existing installations modifications, in addition to normal design of new part (cable diameter in function of current, voltage and distance) it's necessary to think about the impact on existing circuits.

Electrical protection problem design, which permit to limit electrical failure in the branch where it happens, are quite complex and must be studied in details. Work safety must be considered with a lot of precaution, because an electric shock can be fatal.
